While running around on campus one day I saw a poster for an upcoming session of TEDx talks on the subject of Barriers. I gave it some thought and decided to send in some info on a proposed talk. A couple weeks later I learned that my talk had been accepted!
The process of developing my talk in conjunction with a group of really awesome people was amazing and also incredibly nerve-wracking. Giving a TEDx talk was a much different experience than teaching classes.
It was such a great opportunity and I would do it again in a minute. I got to share the stage with some truly amazing people that I now call friends. Being around passionate and inspiring individuals can rub off on a person.
